Artist's Village

Status: Available

Artist's Village This Village is for artists. The focus is fellowship with other artists that are not only willing to give of their time, talent and efforts to serve, but are willing to actively search for ways to do so in their church, work, school, communities, etc. and encourage and help others in their village to do so as well . . . based on God's word in the Bible, that he gives us the tools we need to do the work he has laid out before each of us. It is my hope and belief, that as we serve others through our artistic gifts, we will discover gifts we did not know that we had and sometimes, help those we serve discover they are loved by God and he has gifted them as well. (Quiet testimony of the resounding Truth). Vickie Vance Fowler is the contact person. VickieVFowler@bellsouth.net

Be Real Village

Status: Available

Be Real Village For some reason, we always say that we desire authenticity, openness, honesty, someone to "be real". But what does that look like? Many of us have been in settings that are somewhat plastic; a place that's safe to hide out. But there is something in our souls that begs for more. We've all felt that tug in the depths of our hearts and souls. But it's also scary to think about. Giving another person a chance to peer into your soul is not only intimidating, it's something that we just don't do!! "I don't want someone else to know all of the junk that's in my life!" Little do we know that there are so many people out there that share not only our experiences, but our pain and triumph as well. So, we are a group of people that wants to experience you. We want to experience each other. There is something to be said about knowing that others will be there to celebrate with us and cry with us, keeping our hearts on course with Jesus. We are a group that desires to love and be loved. We don't want to just deal with the pain and hesitations, we want to celebrate with you and love you the way we all desire to be loved. McKays Mill-Liberty Pike Village

Status: Available

Our Village is a small group that meets from 7-9pm every Tuesday at 1329 Liberty Pike in McKay's Mill (Neal Hager's house). We offer a unique combination of Einsteinian level theorizing and Forrest Gump explanation. We discuss everything from how your view of "who God is" affects your daily walk with the Lord (and each other), to your favorite flavor of ice cream. We love on each other as much as possible and try to be sensitive to any individual needs whenever we get together. We usually do a game night once a month or so and try to keep things as fresh as possible. If you want to be challenged in an environment of love and support and you enjoy a good joke, then we have a chair for you. Jack also performs every Tuesday night until 7:30 when he goes narcoleptic caveman and actually falls asleep turning circles in the living room (don't worry you'll see when you get here). Sullivan Farms Village

Status: Available

Led by Dan Vincent. We are a group that prides ourselves in the food we bring each week. We don't settle for finger snacks....we have full-blown meals. When we sit and discuss spiritual topics, we use the questions Jamie sends out that revolve around each week's message. It helps us all stay connected with what is being taught, since the majority of the group either serves with the middle school or Expedition Kids. Often times we'll just enjoy each other while having a meal. It varies, and we're really relaxed and making our decision. We do have childcare available. Our Village meets every Wednesday at 6:30pm at Pastor Dan Trippie's house in Sullivan Farms. Contact: 400-4384 or danetilly@hotmail.com
