Hunters Chase Village Story

Our village began in April of 2007 as a marriage accountability group.Through sharing our stories, and refusing to stay on the surface level of life, we have not only grown in community and in our relationships with each other, but we have seen marriages healed and lives touched by some of the serving projects we have taken on together. We have a really amazing group of gifted couples with stories that would blow your mind, and gifts and talents that are serving the church inside and out.

The past few months in our group have been the best. Our focus has been on a deeper level of community with each other, taking care of each other's needs, praying for each other, and finding our groove in serving the community. We love to serve anonymously within the church by blessing people who bless us and our children. We like to serve in anyway possible in the community. We've done a variety of things from passing out Gatorades, Super Bubble, and Sunflower Seeds to softball teams, all the way to helping tornado victims clean up the rubble in Fairview. Many of the church-wide service opportunities are planned by our very own Shellie Rader.

Other service projects that we are planning coming up includes helping rebuild the communities in Fairview with some of the local volunteers and Habitat for Humanity and serving the kids at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
